While the drought is over for Penn State fans, there’s not much out there in the way of football news, besides that JoePa is 100%, Sean Lee is chomping at the bit to return, and the graduating class has left a lot of holes for young talent to fill.

– Joe Paterno was initially paid $20,000 a season. Granted, it was 1966, but that still seems like a paltry sum.

– Paterno’s first undefeated season was made possible by Kansas having one too many men on the field, giving the Nittany Lions a second chance at the game winning 2 point conversion.

– The Lions picked off Miami Quarterback Vinny Testaverde five times in the 1987 Fiesta Bowl.
