Extra Hours to Procrastinate at Pattee and Paterno
Students who actually bother to study for finals will be excited to hear that Pattee and Paterno Libraries will be offering extended hours for finals week, as well as extra CATA Loop hours, sponsored by PSU Libraries and ITS.
This is what you need to know:
- 12/6 – 12/18 @ 7:00 PM- 24 hour service on the First and Ground floor
- 12/9-10, 12/13-16 – Entire library open until 2 a.m.
- 12/11-12, 12/17 – Entire library open until Midnight
- Dec. 9 to Dec. 19 – Blue and White Loop will run until after 2 a.m.
If those hours don’t suit your needs, you can always try the Internet, open 24 hours a day.

After several months of anticipation, I was finally able to check out State College’s new Cracker Barrel on its opening day. Located at 215 Colonnade Blvd., there are few surprises at the chain’s new location. With rows of rocking chairs out front, checker boards and a game of peg solitaire at every table, I could have been at any franchise location in the country — not that that’s a bad thing.
