Microsoft Launches “Student Insiders” Program

microsoftcampusAccording to TechCrunch, Microsoft is hiring/recruiting students who have a decent blog going to blog about their experiences with Microsoft products (or something like that). In return, students receive compensation for their work by being granted access to Microsoft conferences and having all expenses paid for when they attend Microsoft events. To me, this seems like a smart marketing strategy to gain students that will just spread the word about Microsoft products and then will eventually be hired by Microsoft.

Seems like a smart marketing plan to get campuses “buzzing” about Microsoft, as well as a nice way to gain future employees. It looks like Microsoft is looking for students with “established blogs”, so maybe you should spruce yours up!
