Missing Grad Returns After Blue-White Sighting
After having been considered a missing person for the past week, Robbie McGrath UP’08 reunited with friends earlier this evening. We spoke to one of Robbie’s friends tonight about the circumstances surrounding his return.
At around 2:30 p.m. this afternoon, Robbie showed up at a friend’s door. The friend got Robbie to call his parents, who then drove up to State College to pick up their son.
According to our source, Robbie said he had been wandering around in State College. Robbie’s friend also elaborated on the Pittsburgh native’s sighting at Saturday’s Blue-White game. When Robbie was seen at the tailgate, he had been simply wandering around when he bumped into his friends, whom he had not planned on seeing. That’s why his friends believe Robbie acted “as weirdly as he did.”
We are currently looking into the other aspects of McGrath’s missing streak and will be updating this post as more information comes in.
