Update: WPVI is reporting that as of 3:30PM, the body of Saulius Kvaraciejus has been found in Pennypack Creek. Kvaraciejus drowned after falling off a pool float while rafting with two friends. Our original story is below.

A Penn State student, Saulius Kvaraciejus, has been reported missing in a Philadelphia waterway. According to philly.com, Kvaraciejus (along with two other men) was riding a blow-up pool float in Pennypack Creek. They went down a man-made waterfall, near Winchester Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard and Kvaraciejus and one other man fell into the water around 6:50 pm, police said.

The Police Marine Unit will resume its search for his body this morning.

StateCollege.com reports Kvaraciejus had been enrolled as a third semester Penn State student in the sciences. Kvaraciejus was enrolled last spring but not for the fall at Penn State Abington. Kvaraciejus is a native of the Holmesburg section of Philadelphia.
