Brides-To-Be To Flock To The BJC

The Bryce Jordan Center will host the 2010 Wedding Showcase this Sunday, beginning at 11 a.m. The event, organized by StateCollege.com among others, will feature over 70 local wedding vendors, who will put on a fashion show to exhibit their latest wedding trends to hundreds of brides-to-be.

The website states that the “categories represented at the show included dress shops, disc jockeys, photographers, videographers, limousine services, jewelry, travel agents, cakebakers, hotels, caterers, florists, invitation shops, realtors, and insurance companies.”

Last year, the event saw over 700 brides register to attend the event. Interested persons are encouraged to visit the event’s website. Brides who pre-register for the event will be given free admission, while middle-aged single women, David Tutera wannabes, and female students getting ahead of themselves will have to pay a $5 cover.
