Homecoming Wants Your Blood, Offers Free Chipotle
This Friday, October 1, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Penn State Homecoming is hosting a blood drive at Alumni Hall in the the HUB. If you’re interested, donors are encouraged to schedule appointments ahead of time. You can do this online or in person at the HUB, where tables will be set up today from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Samantha Schaeffer, a Homecoming Public Relations Event Management Captain, explained, “This blood drive is extremely important because blood supplies are at a critical low in the Centre County.”
Members of participating organizations who donate will be awarded spirit points for their blood. My advice: if you are planning on donating, sign up early, because the first 75 “successful donors” will get Chipotle giftcards.
