Movin’ On Headlining Acts Revealed
The headlining acts for Movin’ On 2011, Penn State’s Spring Music Festival, were announced this morning on B94.5 FM. According to the festival’s website, Movin’ On has been a Penn State tradition since 1974 and has provided acts such as Wilco, Fall Out Boy, Run DMC, Talib Kweli, and Ben Folds Five.
Add to that list Little Big Town, Lupe Fiasco, and O.A.R., this year’s main attractions for the festival. Little Big Town is a Grammy nominated country band, Lupe Fiasco is a rap sensation with a brand new album out, and the headlining act O.A.R. is an American rock band with a huge following.
Movin’ On 2011 will be held on April 29 and will be free to everyone. Check out this year’s artists within the next month and get ready to enjoy an awesome day before the grind of finals week begins. Also, don’t forget to attend the Battle of the Bands this Saturday and help determine which four Penn State student bands make it into the line up.
