British Phil Alum in Contest to Open for Weezer

Michael Doyle, the former lead man of British Phil, is leading a Philly competition to open for Weezer at the Radio 104.5 Birthday Party on May 20th. Check out his video entry titled ‘Big Spoon’ below and head over to the radio station’s website to vote.

Doyle will be performing along with British Phil compatriots/Penn State students Tim Vitullo, Clay Blunk, Joe Tombasco and Dave Joyce. He made it into the top 25 of more than 200 entries to the contest. Votes are allowed once per day up until April 17. (Watch for OS visual editor and Photoshop extraordinaire Eric Weiss.)
