A Class About Facebook? Not Yet, But Close.
While the demand for a class about Facebook and social media would be through the roof, it isn’t (yet) a reality at Penn State. However, today you have the opportunity to get as close to being in one as possible.
Today at 4 p.m. in Carnegie Cinema (113 Carnegie Building, not actually a cinema), you can watch Jesse Eisenberg in all of his nerdy glory during a free showing of “The Social Network,” sponsored by the Media Studies Society and the Department of Film-Video and Media Studies.
A discussion featuring a panel of College of Comm professors Matt McAllister, Matt Jordan, and Michelle Rodino-Colocino will also accompany the screening.
