Film Festival to Stop in State College
The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour is stopping in State College tonight and Wednesday at The State Theatre, featuring award-winning documentaries and short films on topics ranging from advanced stunt skiing to international culture. The festival, a program of The Banff Centre, is the largest and one of the most prestigious mountain festivals in the words.

The Sierra Club Moshannon Group is sponsoring the Banff Mountain Film Festival’s trip to State College.
The doors will open at 6 pm and the films are slated to begin at 7 pm. Tickets can be purchased at Appalachian Outdoors (123 S. Allen St.) and The State Theatre (130 W. College Ave.) for $12 with a student ID or $16 the day of the show.
