“Until Our Voices Are Heard” – The Vagina Monologues 2012 Preview
As a part of the first annual “Women’s Empowerment Week,” the Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. is presenting three showings of “The Vagina Monologues” on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Written by playwright Eve Ensler and directed by Belle Genao and Serenity Ireland, “The Vagina Monologues” features a series of real stories from real women that document their journeys on the road to sexual self-discovery. With a diverse, all-female cast, “The Vagina Monologues” is a celebrated homage to female sexuality, and all of the ups, downs, intimacies, and awkwardness that it entails.
The first showing is Thursday in 112 Chambers building at 7:30. The show will also run Friday and Saturday in 105 Forum at 7:30. All showings are free.
