It’s been nine long years since the last in-theatre release of an “American Pie” movie. Sure, the straight-to-DVD films were funny, from “Band Camp” to “Beta House”, but it just wasn’t quite the same without the original cast, without Jim and Stifler, Michelle and Vicky, Oz and the Shermanator, or even Finch and Stifler’s mom.

A lot has happened since their graduation, and it’s now time for the first East Great Falls High School Class of ’99 reunion. Rumors have been spreading about the production of “American Reunion” for years, and now it’s finally here. The movie is set to make a full release on April 6th, but if you can’t wait that long, the State Theatre will be hosting an advance screening of the film this Tuesday, March 20th, at 8:00 p.m.

The early showing is free of charge for Penn State students,  but remember to bring your student ID and show up early, because seats will be first come, first served. Depending on the event, the State Theatre can hold an absolute maximum of 571 people, so plan accordingly as this is sure to draw a lot of fans of the extremely popular film series.
