BJC Announces Macadelic Freestyle Competition

If you’re a lyrical mastermind with mad flow who also happens to be a Mac Miller fan, then your dream night might be just around the corner. The Bryce Jordan Center has announced the Macadelic Freestyle Competition, a chance for fans to submit a video of themselves rapping over one of Mac’s beats. The best submission — judged by Mac himself — will win two tickets to his April 3rd show at the BJC and a meet-and-greet with him following the show.

Submissions for the competition are due this coming Monday, March 26th, by 11:59 p.m, and should be between 30 and 45 seconds long, just enough to showcase your skills without wasting too much of Mac’s time. The rules state that videos must not contain any profanity, nudity, or offensive content. In other words, it can’t be anything like an actual Mac Miller video.

Completed videos should be sent to MacadelicFreestyle@gmail.com, including your name, phone number and e-mail address. The video must be in .MPEG4, .MOV, .AVI, or .WMV format to be considered. The officials over at the Bryce Jordan Center will pick the top five freestyles and send them over to Mac to select the winner.
