It comes with great regret and sadness that I write these words:

Clem’s Wood-Fired BBQ has closed.

Though, fortunately, it’s only temporary. The take-out restaurant and caterer popular for their pulled pork and ribs closed shop as a result of not having enough room to continue to run the business from their current location. Clem’s shared space with Brewsky’s Bottle Shop at 1663 S. Atherton St. The owner of Clem’s, Clem Pantalone,  plans on reopening somewhere in the State College area as soon as he can.

“I want to continue with it and I think there’s still a future for it,” he said. “I hope to be back open as soon as two weeks from now, but that’s not a surety,” said Pantalone in a recent article published by the Centre Daily Times.

Until then, all of Clem’s barbeque fans will have to do without its excellent food and customer service.
