The Penn State TOMS Club is hosting a “Style Your Sole” party on the HUB lawn this Sunday, April 1 at 1:00 p.m.

The Style Your Sole event is open to anyone who wants to paint or decorate their TOMS shoes, t-shirts, bags and anything else they would like to bring. You don’t have to bring a TOMS product to participate! If you are like the majority of the student body and own a pair of TOMS, here’s your opportunity to personalize your shoes and stand out by letting your creativity show. Decorating supplies and food will be provided.

This is the opportunity to mimic the hippie (now referred as hipster) lifestyle by sitting outside on the grass, being one with nature, listening to music and embracing your inner artist while meeting new people and promoting a great movement. Plus, who doesn’t want free food? NOM.

If the final weeks of Spring Semester are having you in a “creative block,” you can check out the TOMS Style Your Sole website for some unique examples, or Google “style your sole ideas” and there are a lot of images that can get your brain thinking.

The event’s purpose is to bring people together to raise awareness of TOMS One for One Movement foundation – for every pair of shoes you buy, they donate a new pair of shoes to a child in need – bringing attention to the extreme poverty in the world and promoting the spirit of giving.
