RISE and RALLY Bowl Organized for Football Seniors and Fans

The same group of people who organized the memorable early morning Rise and Rally event on July 31st have teamed up with “FightOnState” to make sure the 2012 senior class will have an expense-free bowl-like celebration in Atlantic City, New Jersey from January 5-7.

The 2013 RISE and RALLY Bowl will take place at the Trump Taj Mahal Hotel Casino and the Showboat Casino with several cocktail parties, film and autograph sessions, auctions, trivia contests, tailgates, and viewing parties planned throughout the three-day celebration. The final event will be a celebration at the House of Blues Concert Hall Monday Night, hosted by The Goon Show. The full agenda can be found here.

“The organizers have agreed to front the costs for rooms and meals for all seniors attending. Our hope is that the supporters of the 2012 senior class will want to help this group enjoy a bowl like atmosphere,” said former Penn State linebacker and Letterman Club President Tim Sweeney in a press release. Former All-Big Ten offensive lineman Keith Conlin is also one of the main organizers along with Sweeney.

Several former Nittany Lion Football players including Daryll Clark, Aaron Maybin, Derrick Williams, and many others will be in attendance along with this year’s seniors, and fans can help support the event and join them by purchasing one of the ticket packages available here. The cheapest ticket option is $549 while the most expensive is a $5999 Rock Star Sponsorship Package for two people that will cover the appearance costs for one of the seniors.

Members of this senior class grew accustomed to spending the first days of January in California, Florida, or Dallas. This will be different, but players are looking forward to it.

“The senior class, we’re all very excited about it. This is going to be a great opportunity for us to get out there and see all the fans (and to) have a good time. Just kind of mix and mingle and be ourselves,” said senior fullback Michael Zordich.
