ANGEL Revises its Maintenance Schedule

There comes a time in nearly every Penn Stater’s academic career when, for one reason or another, they completely forget to turn in an assignment. When the professor questions you, you panic for a moment before blurting, “ANGEL was down for maintenance!” Lo and behold, the excuse works! (Well, 60% of the time it works every time.) But alas, no more.

Starting February 1, ANGEL will change its maintenance schedule from daily to twice a week. So unless your posts are due between 4 a.m. and  6 a.m. on Saturdays and Wednesdays, you’re going to have to kiss that go-to excuse goodbye (or maybe just turn all of your assignments on time — just a thought).

Information Technology Services may need to schedule additional maintenance times during the week, but they’ll send users advance notification if and when that happens.

tl;dr — the Twitter account @ANGELsucks just got a lot less funny.
