The Penn State Student Black Caucus announced earlier this afternoon that the group will be holding an open forum with President Rodney Erickson next Thursday, February 7 at 7 p.m.

The event, held in 112 Chambers, will serve as an opportunity for students to interact with President Erickson and ask him questions. When President Erickson took office last November, he pledged to hold at least one town hall forum with students each semester for the duration of his term. So far, he has lived up to that promise.

More specifically, the Student Black Caucus hopes that the focus of the forum will be centered around diversity. According to the Facebook event, “President Erickson will discuss his plans to bring racial justice to Penn State, as well as fielding questions from the Penn State minority community on how he plans on protecting students of color on campus.”
