Trailer Park Boys Heading To The BJC

The Trailer Park Boys, a comedy trio known for their Candian mockumentary television show, will perform at the Bryce Jordan Center on December 6, as confirmed by the BJC.

The show will start at 8 p.m. and tickets are available online at TicketMaster on Friday at noon. You can also call 1-800-745-3000 to purchase tickets, which start at $19.50 for Penn State students and cost $36.50 otherwise. As usual, tickets will be available on campus at the Bryce Jordan Center, Eisenhower Auditorium, Penn State Downtown Theatre, and the Altoona Campus Ticket Outlet. The show is for mature audiences only and is not open to anyone under 18 years of age.

The Trailer Park Boys series focused on the lives of a number of individuals living in a fictional Nova Scotian trailer park. Since DirecTV began airing episodes in the United States and the show the was made available on Netflix, it has developed a cult following outside of Canda.

Robb Wells, John Paul Tremblay, and Mike Smith — who play Ricky, Julian, and Bubbles on the show respectively — will be in character for the performance. While the three of them will be featured, the BJC says that characters like Randy and Mr. Lahey, played by Patrick Roach and John Dunsworth, will be there as well.

The show aired in Canada from 2001 to 2007 on the Showcase television network and the cast later filmed two movies as spinoffs of the show. A third film is currently in production.

If you’re a Trailer Park Boys fan or if you just enjoy some good, dirty, redneck comedy, this show is a must-see.
