Report: Theta Delta Chi Missing $90,000
Penn State fraternity Theta Delta Chi is missing 90 grand.
According to court documents, as first reported by the Centre Daily Times, TDX contacted police in January after $90,000 went missing from its bank account. Police issued a search warrant for the fraternity’s bank account and are currently looking over Citizens Bank records.
Fraternity members noticed the account was abnormally low and saw a number of large unauthorized cash withdraws during the last new months of 2012, according to the report.
Police say that $57,000 was suspiciously withdrawn from the account from August 2011 to December 2012 and another $30,000 via debit card.
The investigation is ongoing and we’ll let you know when we have more information.
