Penn State Medical Student to Compete on ‘Jeopardy!’

Penn State students, alumni, and fans are regularly able to cheer on student athletes’ achievements in Beaver Stadium and other athletic venues. Now, the Penn State community can root for one student’s academic success from the comfort of their own home.

Second-year medical student Johnna Mahoney will compete tonight on “Jeopardy!” — one of the world’s most popular quiz shows, hosted by Alex Trebek. Mahoney will compete against two other contestants to earn as much cash as possible, given by answering the question accurately first. The contestants are given general knowledge clues in the form of answers and must phrase their responses in question form.

Be sure to tune in at 7 p.m. or record tonight’s episode for future viewing.

Good luck, Johnna! Win or lose, you’ve already made Penn State proud.
