BJC Is Officially at Capacity

For the first time so far this weekend, the Bryce Jordan Center has officially reached capacity therefore triggering THON’s newly-created back-up plan.

The doors to the BJC are now officially closed, and every hour on the hour THON will release updates on the numbers on the coded bracelets who will be allowed to enter into the BJC — if any. Spectators can check these numbers by checking THON’s social media accounts, this site, as well as live updates inside Pegula Ice Arena. You can also check out THON’s video regarding capacity issues.

In the meantime, Pegula’s doors will be open for spectators to have a safe, warm, and most importantly, close place to wait to see when and if their numbers will be called. Once a spectator’s number is called, that person has 45 minutes to get to Gate A before they will be turned away and need to obtain a new bracelet and their place at the back of the (digital) line.

Only time will tell how successful this system will be, but we will be sure to keep you updated on all events happening in the BJC with our Live Blog.
