Rotelli Restaurant at Risk of Closure
One of the most popular restaurants in downtown State College could soon close its doors. According to court documents filed Monday, the Sheriff’s Department has been ordered to close Rotelli restaurant on Calder Way.
The Sheriff’s Department has been told to change the locks of the doors in the next 30 days because the owner owes more than $190,000 in back rent to the building owner, Fox 8 News is reporting.
We were able to briefly speak to co-owner David Krauth this morning, who says the restaurant will remain open for now.
“I’m not going to get into specifics but we have an agreement to stay open,” Krauth said. “We’re working with our landlord.”
