UPDATE (March 29): The voting is over, and Samantha Golay and David Gaddy are your 2014 Penn State Homecoming emcees!

“I am extremely excited to get to know all the talented people who put this amazing student-run organization together, and represent them in one of the largest Penn State traditions,” said Golay, a member of The National Association of Black Accountants and The African Students Association.

“I am amazed everyday by the students who go to Penn State and what we do here. I am so happy that I get to represent the student body at Homecoming 2014,” said Gaddy, a THON 2014 Morale committee member, and active participant in Students Engaging Students. “I am ready to start building a new family while keeping the tradition alive.”

Original Post: ‘Twas only four years ago when Elias Warren and Heidi Kloster solidified their place in Penn State history by becoming the first ever official Penn State Homecoming emcees. Three more couples have come and gone since those early trailblazers, and students will now get to select the fifth. Voting for the 2014 Homecoming emcee opened up last night at midnight. Registered Penn State students can vote HERE to pick the pair of students (one male and one female) who will host a number of events leading up to the 2014 Homecoming football game on September 27. Here are this year’s candidates and their audition videos.
