Sue Paterno Endorses Two Penn State Board of Trustees Candidates
Sue Paterno has announced her endorsement for two alumni candidates for Penn State Board of Trustees — Rudy Glocker and Al Lord.
Lord is the former CEO of Sallie Mae. Glocker is currently a Managing Partner at Pediped Footwear. It’s interesting to note that Paterno endorsed only one of the three PS4RS candidates (Lord).
“I have known Al and Rudy for years. They are great Penn Staters and will do an outstanding job as Trustees. We have discussed Penn State’s critical issues during this campaign and these gentlemen understand well the needs of our beloved alma mater. I endorse both candidacies without reservation and look forward to the changes they can make on the Board. I ask all voters to review their credentials and vote for Al and Rudy,” Sue Paterno said in a statement.
Voting began today for the board vacancies and closes May 8. There are 31 candidates on the ballot to fill three seats on the board. Learn about all 31 candidates here.
