Wiz Khalifa to Replace A$AP Rocky at Movin’ On

Movin’ On announced today that its announced headliner A$AP Rocky will not be able to perform at this year’s show, and will be replaced by fellow rapper Wiz Khalifa.

According to a statement on Movin’ On’s Facebook page, A$AP had to cancel due to “unforeseen circumstances.” There is no word on why he had to cancel.

Instead, Penn Staters will get to see arguably a bigger name, Pittsburgh’s Wiz Khalifa, who performed at the Bryce Jordan Center in 2012. He is known as the founder of the record label Taylor Gang and for his hits “Black and Yellow,” “Roll Up,” “No Sleep,” “Young, Wild & Free,” and “Work Hard, Play Hard.” His new album is scheduled to drop sometime in 2014.

According to Movin’ On, the rest of the lineup will remain the same. The card is rounded out by Fitz and the Tantrums, Aloe Blacc, Sky Ferreira, Air Dubai, and student band Lenina Crowne.

The music festival will take place on April 26, a week earlier than usual, and will also move to the IM fields outside of the law building instead of the fields next to Beaver Stadium.
