Distraction of the Day: Brandon Wimbush Commits to Penn State on Bleacher Report
One of the best and worst things about recruiting becoming such a big aspect of sports is that committing to a school can sometimes be surrounded by a ton of pageantry.
That’s exactly what happened yesterday, when four-star New Jersey quarterback Brandon Wimbush committed to Penn State via Bleacher Report.
Wimbush is joined by a room full of people, B/R college football analyst Michael Felder, and hats for his top four schools: Miami, Penn State, Ohio State, and Boston College. After going through the reasons why each school made it into his top four, he ultimately makes his decision. We all know what happens next.
Wimbush goes on to praise the energy of James Franklin’s coaching staff, the players who have already committed, and his vibes of the program from the times he’s visited Happy Valley. He then goes on to end his commitment with a “We Are!”
