Man Sent to Hospital After Sandwich Fight
This must have been a really good sandwich.
A 20-year-old man was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center early Saturday morning to treat injuries sustained in a fight over a sandwich.
State College Police Lt. Barrett Smith said police received a report at about 2 a.m. of an incident occurring near LionHeart Fitness on Sowers Street. A man allegedly pushed another man into a light pole because he thought the victim had slapped a sandwich out of his friend’s hand.
Smith said the victim needed stitches to treat a severe cut to his ear. The incident is still under investigation as police attempt to locate the suspect.
