Four-Star JuCo OT Paris Palmer Commits To Penn State

Four-star offensive tackle Paris Palmer is the latest member of Penn State football’s 2015 recruiting class, according to 247sports.com’s Steve Wiltfong. Palmer is the ninth-ranked Junior College player in the country and the best JuCo player at his position, according to 247sports.com.

“This is my life, my moment, my opportunity, my destiny, and i have to follow my own path and my pathway is leading me to Penn State University,” Palmer said on Twitter. Palmer was originally committed to South Carolina. He held an official visit to University Park on Nov. 29 and James Franklin visited Palmer today. He also received offers from Ohio State, Missouri, Miami, Baylor, and Cincinnati among 12 total schools.

Palmer played JuCo football at Lackawanna Community College in Scranton, Pa. The 2015 recruiting class now has four offensive linemen. Palmer joins three other four-star players in Sterling Jenkins, Ryan Bates, and Steven Gonzalez. Penn State’s offensive line came under scrutiny for much of this football season, but there is a ton of talent on the way to Happy Valley at guard and tackle. We welcome the newest Nittany Lion to Penn State and look forward to seeing him dominate on the field.
