College Of Communications Announces Hollywood Internship Program
The College of Communications announced today it will offer a semester-long internship program in Hollywood beginning Jan. 2016.

The Hollywood Program will guarantee internship placement to selected students in their intended professional field. According to the College of Communications website, it will be possible for accepted students to maintain a full course load while living and working in LA. Courses on the entertainment industry topics will be offered and students can enroll in online courses offered through the World Campus.
According to a press release, there will be no additional fees for the program and accepted students will pay their regular Penn State tuition for the semester.
The program is open to College of Communications juniors or seniors in any major. There will be information sessions on Feb. 16, 18, and 24 in 60 Willard Building for interested students.
“Opportunities abound in Hollywood, and the Penn State Hollywood Program exists to help students get the kind of experience that makes a difference,” said Professor Robert Richards in the release.
