Following D-League Dominance, Frazier to Sign 10-Day Contract With Sixers
A day after earning an NBA D-League all-star selection, Tim Frazier is making the next step to an NBA career.
According to Yahoo Sports’ Marc Spears, Frazier will sign a 10-day contract with the Philadelphia 76ers sometime Thursday. The Sixers play at Boston on Friday.

Frazier is averaging 15.9 points, 8.9 assists, and 6.8 rebounds per game this season as a member of the Maine Red Claws, including a game-winner and two triple-doubles.
This won’t be Frazier’s first stint on a roster in the NBA, but it will be the first time he’s an active member during the regular season. The Penn State career assist leader was waived from the Boston Celtics a week before the season began after spending time on its summer roster. Frazier also worked out for the Sixers prior to the draft and played for the team during the summer.
We’ll update this post as more details of his salary and situation become available. But for now, congrats Tim.
