Weather: For the second-straight year, the weather gods are smiling down on an otherwise unruly and unpredictable State College for Penn State’s spring game. Accuweather calls for a high of 73 degrees with a low of 41 degrees after sundown. Winds are expected to come from the northwest at 10 mph, with gusts reaching 21 mph. Early tailgaters should expect patchy morning fog, otherwise, mostly sunny and warm. The dry weather brings a high fire threat as well, meaning keep a close eye on your charcoal grills near the open fields.

Last Time they Met: Last year, Blue, which consisted mostly of starters, ended up with the 37-0 victory over the White squad. Cole Chiapialle, who has since transferred to Shippensburg University after suffering multiple injuries, stole the show in 2014 with an impressive two touchdowns and 80 total yards. The game’s longest — and most exciting — play was a 56-yard pass on a reverse from wideout Geno Lewis to Matt Zanellato, who sprinted in untouched for the touchdown.

Injuries: None. It’s a new season. *Fingers crossed*

Get Out There And Meet People: CJ Doon’s Senior Column

Whether it’s natural curiosity or fear of the spotlight, I’m not sure, but I’ve always been more comfortable asking questions rather than answering them. Interviewing interesting people — friends, family, or strangers — is an enjoyable activity that I hope to turn into a living. At Penn State, I was afforded the opportunity to follow that passion — and then some.
