Offensive Lineman Alex Gellerstedt Commits To Penn State
Three-star offensive lineman Alex Gellerstedt announced his commitment to Penn State Monday afternoon, becoming the second commitment Franklin’s team picked up in the last week. The Lions’ head coach sent out his usual siren tweet to announce the addition, then offensive line coach Herb Hand let Twitter know how he was feeling.

Gellerstedt joins a deep 2016 class and brings much-needed depth up front. 247 Sports lists the Dublin, Ohio native at 6’7 and 275 lbs. Gellerstedt had offers from cross-state rival Pitt as well as Big Ten rivals Wisconsin, Rutgers, and Maryland, among others.
