DOTD: #FireJohnDonovan Spreads Overseas

Bauer

Where’s the farthest you’ve gone to tell someone your true feelings? Regardless of your escapades, a Penn State fan has you beat. He donated to a school in India where the teacher accepts money to make viral videos, and the profits go to tuition for his students.

“James Franklin is a fraud! Fire John Donovan!” the students cry, as if they see a third-and-long coming up and they can’t watch another screen pass.

The teacher’s videos started on a website called Fiverr, where professional services can be sold or hired. His account, named Quazihaque, says “Hello, I have good skill for make funny videos, (Happy Birthday wishes, video testimonials) and any promotional videos [sic].”

So for a small fee, reach out to him to help pay for his students’ tuition and in return, he’ll have his students yell something like, “We want the statue!” or “Mark Emmert’s a hack!”
