Tickets for the first-ever “Big Ten Super Saturday Hoops and Hockey Doubleheader” at Madison Square Garden go on sale for students Tuesday at 7 a.m. via the Student AccountManager. The Jan. 30 doubleheader pits Penn State and Michigan against each other on the hardwood and on the ice in one of the most iconic arenas in sports.

The student ticket package runs at $80, and includes transportation to and from the game, admission to both the hockey and basketball games, and a special game day t-shirt.

Men’s hockey season ticket holders will receive priority seating for the hockey game, with the same rule applying to men’s basketball season ticket holders. Madison Square Garden, home of the New York Rangers and Knicks, provides ample seating with a spectacular view of the action all throughout the arena. The student ticket package will provide seating in student-designated areas, which should provide that student-section feel typically found at home games.

The tickets are limited to one per student, and will certainly be in high demand considering the magnitude of the event coupled with the fanbase’s propensity for being rabid ticket buyers.
