DOTD: Devon Still Sends Bullied Teen With Cancer To Disney

Former Penn State defensive tackle Devon Still is known not only for his play on the gridiron, but for the incredible story of his daughter Leah and her battle with cancer. Devon recently took on a new battle this past week for a total stranger who was being bullied online for having cancer.

A 14-year old girl named Nicole Pfister from Texas was receiving harsh online comments for her appearance due to her battle with cancer, and after going through Leah’s battle, Still was moved to do something about it.

Still posted an inspirational Instagram post, but his endorsement of Pfister and her story didn’t end there. To show his support for the girl and her battle with both cancer and cyber-bullying, Still reached out to Pfister and her family and told them he was going to send them to Walt Disney World.

“We wanted to send a family that was battling cancer to Disney World for Christmas because during [Leah’s] battle we went there two years and we kind of used that as our escape from our real life problems and used it to be a place where we created our own realities,” Still said to TMZ sports.

Perhaps the best part of the video is a strong, cancer-free Leah in the background. Check it out for yourself in an extremely inspirational distraction of the day.
