A 20-year-old woman was injured in a hit-and-run at the intersection of E. Prospect Ave. and S. Garner St., according to a release from the State College Police Department. The pedestrian was taken to a trauma center in Altoona. The release said the woman was found unconscious at the scene and was in town to visit friends.

The car fled south on Garner St., and is reported to be a silver or grey sedan with expected damage to the front, windshield, and hood area. The vehicle should also be missing a windshield wiper.
