Police Looking For Suspect Who Was Locked Inside Subway, Destroyed Property

Semisonic said it best: You don’t have to go home but you can’t stay here. One man clearly hasn’t heard “Closing Time,” as he found himself locked inside a closed Subway.

At the Subway on 100 South Burrowes Street State College Police say the employees accidentally locked a man inside when they closed at 4:30 a.m. on January 23.

The man became obviously frustrated after being locked inside the Subway for more than an hour. At 5:41 a.m. the man damaged the resturant including several doors and locks (possibly trying to get out), as well as the toilet on the first floor restroom.

Nothing was reported stolen after the incident. The police report says the video surveillance shows the man eventually left through the front door.

There is no other information about the situation available at this time. Anyone who might have information on the suspect pictured above should contact the State College Police Department.
