Red Land Little League To Appear At THON After Raising $28,000 FTK

The Red Land Little League National Champs are coming back to Happy Valley. The team raised $28,000 FTK in the last year and they’re making the trip for the big weekend.

The United States National Champions will be on stage during THON this weekend. THON will recognize the team for its victories on the field and with its fundraising efforts. Team Manager Tom Peifer and slugger Cole Wagner will each give a short speech to the BJC.

The players and coaches have been FTK in a handful of ways, including participating in the football team’s THON game this fall. They’ve met with pediatric-cancer patients, their families, and caregivers at Penn State Hershey and sent cards to kids in treatment over the holidays. The team auctioned Wagner’s 2015 Little League World Series Championship bat for the cause and donated championship tee shirts and autographed poster to Four Diamonds kids.

There’s no better way to spend an offseason than working FTK. We dance in two!
