Bernie Sanders to Hold Rally at Rec Hall Tuesday
Penn State will feel the Bern on Tuesday as democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders comes to campus for one of his signature super rallies.
The campaign announced details on its website today. Doors will open at 4 p.m. for the public rally at Rec Hall. Tickets are required and can be obtained for free by registering on the campaign website.
Sanders will be the first presidential candidate to make a swing through Penn State leading up to the April 26 Pennsylvania primary. Sanders is down 16 points to frontrunner Hillary Clinton in Pennsylvania according to the most recent aggregate polling data, but his support increases steadily among students and young people.
