Police Investigating Theft Of Delivery Box Truck Outside Sheetz
Police are looking for a thief who somehow managed to take an unattended delivery box truck from the front of Sheetz on 121 South Pugh Street.
According to a press release, on Wednesday, May 4 at 2:00 p.m. (broad daylight), a male exited Sheetz with two other males, entered the truck, and began to drive it down Calder Way. Rather than just going for a case of beer, this heister decided to take it all.
However, the white, male suspect — who was seen wearing a black fleece with a purple and black striped shirt and black jeans — apparently lost his gusto and left the truck after a short drive. Ultimately, the truck was found near Humes Alley. Finals week, am I right?
