The Metropolitan Releases 3D Rendering Ahead Of Lease-Signing Day

The Metropolitan, aka the large construction site located at the corner of College and Atherton, will reportedly be available for students to move in for the fall 2017 semester, and though the building isn’t quite done yet, the company released a 3D rendering of the complex on their social media pages.

Check out the video from The Metropolitan’s Facebook page, set to a rendition of “Cheap Thrills” by Sia because, why not?

The complex looks incredibly luxurious from the rendering, with all kinds of unique amenities like an outdoor pool in the middle of downtown State College. According to the video, potential tenants are able to sign a lease as early as Friday, September 23.

The Metropolitan will have seven floors set aside for student housing and an additional three reserved for young professionals, family, and alumni. The complex was originally set to open in June, but a harsh winter pushed the construction timeline back more than a year. Construction has been ongoing since it began in June 2014 and has since dominated the State College skyline with cranes and now some structural components of the building finally starting to go up.
