Rotelli To Close Its Doors On Sunday

After a tenuous few years in State College, Rotelli will finally be closing its doors on Sunday. The restaurant, which has had a rocky few months, previously filed for backruptcy in order to stay open. However, the restaurant announced on Twitter yesterday that it will officially shut down this weekend.

According to the Centre Daily Times, bankruptcy documents show that the restaurant will sell its liquor license, furniture, fixtures, and other equipment. Rotelli almost went to auction in April after getting behind on an almost $1 million bank loan, but filed for bankruptcy at the last minute in order to stay open.

Rotelli has been active in the State College community for more than 10 years. One of the few true pasta restaurants in town, the eatery hosted several THON Dancer Meals and a Leukemia Benefit Dinners throughout its lifetime.

If you’re a pizza, pasta, or buffalo chicken mac and cheese lover, this weekend is your last chance to get your Rotelli fix.
