Rally In The Valley To Be Held At Medlar Field On Friday

If rallying to search for clowns wasn’t enough excitement for you this semester, get ready for some more madness. This week’s less spooky rally is all about the much anticipated match-up with Ohio State this weekend.

The Blue & White Society, the Alumni Association, UPAC, and the State College Spikes linked up to host the All Sports Rally in the Valley. The rally will take place at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park this Friday from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. There will be features from woman’s basketball, gymnastics, men’s baseball, and many more.

The event will include food and free giveaways for students, faculty, staff. Special guests from various Penn State teams will make appearances, and there will also be a fireworks show. After that, there’s a chance to witness a special celebration that will assemble the Nittany Lions for the Ohio State game on Saturday.

Here’s the rundown according to the Blue & White Society’s website:

“The first half of the program from 8-9 pm will allow students, faculty, community members, and alumni to enjoy FREE giveaways, food, inflatables, and guest appearances by Penn State celebrities. The second half of the program from 9-10 pm will showcase our student athletes and coaches.  The program will conclude with fireworks provided by the State College Spikes.

The Blue & White Society strives to give every student the best Penn State experience. This event builds community and spirit around our Athletic Teams while simultaneously showing support for our student athletes.”

If you’re anxiously anticipating Saturday’s White Out Game, start the celebration on Friday at Rally in the Valley to help get the Nittany Lions gameday ready.
