Penn State And Michigan State Team Up For Blood Drive
Michigan State and Penn State are teaming up in the name of philanthropy again. The annual blood drive donor challenge will return to campus on October 31 and will run until November 17.
The Penn State-Michigan State challenge began in 1994. It’s now on its 23rd year with no signs of stopping. The challenge is sponsored and run by the American Red Cross.The goal is to collect as many donations as possible while encouraging friendly competition. One pint of blood from each donation can save up to three lives.
Students and community members are welcome and encouraged to participate in the challenge. Those interested can donate at American Red Cross drives located across campus. Donors will receive a free Penn State-Michigan State challenge t-shirt and a variety of refreshments.
