James Franklin Wants Another White Out

You want another White Out? Well, it appears James Franklin does too.

The head coach sent a pair of tweets fresh off his team’s 62-24 dismantling of Purdue indicating he’d enjoy seeing another White Out in Beaver Stadium.

The atmosphere felt in Beaver Stadium for the team’s last White Out — Penn State’s upset victory of then-No. 2 Ohio State — was unlike any that’s been seen in Happy Valley in quite some time. Traditionally, there’s only one White Out per year, but with the No. 24 Nittany Lions rolling ahead of a must-win showdown against Iowa next weekend, what’s wrong with another?

Fans would love to see it, and one might argue the team simply plays better in front of such a raucous crowd. Penn State prides itself on tradition, but it might be acceptable to switch things up a bit.

Maybe just this once.
