Penn State Campus Residential Dining To Host The National Pork Board & The Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute

Penn State Campus Residential Dining, along with the National Pork Board and the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute, invites all Penn State students to participate in two very special lunch and dinners with one-of-a-kind pork and seafood options. The pork specialties will be served at all five campus dining halls on Tuesday, January 31, and the seafood delectables on Thursday, February 9.

During lunch on January 31, participants can enjoy a roast porchetta sandwich with cranberry mostarda, caramelized onions, and arugula along with orzo and pistachio salad and maple bacon sticky buns. For dinner, diners can dig into a Korean pork flat iron steak with fresh kimchi, sticky rice, ginger glazed bok choy, and for dessert a candied bacon waffle sundae.

On February 9, hungry patrons can enjoy a lunch of Alaskan cod, corn and black bean chowder, tempura cod with spicy mayo, and smoked salmon penne with cream sauce and peas. At dinner, Alaskan rock fish with Moroccan sweet hot tomato sauce, couscous with roasted vegetables, and chickpeas will be served along with an upscale option of king crab legs, drawn butter and cheddar biscuits.

Penn State Campus Residential Dining along with the National Pork Board & The Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute hopes to give students two unique cuisine experiences to start off their semester.

Lunch is generally served between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and dinner is served between 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. However, these scheduled times change upon location. For more information on campus dining hours and locations please visit: http://foodservices.psu.edu/residential-dining-hours-fall-2016.
