Career Services To Host Spring Career Day At Bryce Jordan Center

Penn State’s Career Services office will hold its annual Spring Career Day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. next Tuesday, Feb. 14 at the Bryce Jordan Center.

Career Services says the event will provide student job-seekers the opportunity to meet with more than 350 employers, survey their options for future career possibilities, and secure interviews with prospective employers.

“It’s really just an opportunity for students to make the connections with companies they’re interested in working with eventually, to learn more about the positions they have to offer,” Career Fair Coordinator Megan Foster said.

Next week’s career day will be the first to feature internship, co-op, and job opportunities at the same time. In the past, the event has taken place over several days, with each day concentrating on a different category of employment opportunity.

Although the spring career day is generally smaller than its fall counterpart, Foster expects more than 3,000 students to attend. Many recruiters will schedule interviews with students for the following day, February 15.

If you’re at a loss on what to wear, you can see what students have worn to past career day events in one of our Natty Nittany posts.
