Football Season Ticket Prices To Increase For First Time Since 2009
Penn State Athletics announced Monday that football season tickets will see a $35 increase in price for the 2018 season to a total of $420.
This is the first increase in season ticket prices since 2009; it comes leading up to a season in which Beaver Stadium will host five Big Ten opponents, including perennial national powers Ohio State and Wisconsin.

Fans paid $385 for this year’s season tickets, but an increase of $5 per game brings the total to a very nice $420. Penn State sold out its season ticket allotment for the 2017 season; doing the same for the 2018 season would bring more than $3 million in new revenue for Athletics.
“We are grateful for the tremendous support from Penn State alumni, students and fans for the Nittany Lion football team,” Penn State Athletic Director Sandy Barbour said in a press release. “The investment of resources, time and passion our season ticket holders make in our program and the atmosphere they create in Beaver Stadium are unrivaled. The decisions we make come with careful deliberation about the potential impact on our loyal fans and community and the conditions for success they create for our student-athletes.”
Football season ticket renewals for the 2018 season will be available beginning Monday, Nov. 13 on the Athletics ticket portal.
